Rendering
Rendering in Birstall
Exterior walls rendered to protect the brickwork and give the outside of the house a smarter finish.
Rendering covers the outside brickwork in a protective layer that also smartens up how the house looks from the street. I'll check the wall first for any damp or damage that needs sorting before the render goes on, since covering a problem over just stores it up for later.
Some jobs are a full wall or elevation, others are patching up render that's cracked or come away in one spot. Either way the finish is built up and finished the same, so a patched section shouldn't stand out from the rest of the wall.
What's included
- Render applied to exterior brick or block
- Cracked or damaged render repaired
- Weatherproof finish coat
- Corners and edges finished cleanly
- Suitable for full walls or patch areas
- Site cleared once finished

the time either job was too small or they would give me time but not turn. I had a new upvc door fitted and the fitters said the boarding around the frame needs to be finished by plasterer so I made contact with Jimmy and he came down same day, gave me a quote which was reasonably priced and started with job very next day. This wasn't easy for Jimmy but he and his colleague persevered with it until it was complete. Even though they faced problems with the door they didn't moan or tried to charge me extra. They would arrive on time with positive attitude, very friendly and very good at their job. I highly recommend J.S plastering services for all your plastering needs. I will be using again for basement work..
I’m in a very good place to comment on Jimmy’s work, because I have work from two different plasterers in the property. I can safely say that Jimmy’s work is absolutely outstanding! Head and shoulders above the work of the second plasterer which came in. The walls and ceilings Jimmy plastered are silky smooth. Loved his work. I’m lucky the second plasterer only did a small portion of the house. I actually thought of calling Jimmy back myself to redo the plastering of the other plasterer but the decorator has said he can work with the plastering to achieve a good finish.
