Damaged or holed plasterboard cut out, patched and skimmed back in flush with the wall.
A knock, a leak, or an old socket that's been moved can all leave a hole in a plasterboard wall that needs cutting back and patching properly rather than just filling over. I cut out the damaged section, fit new board where needed, then skim it level with the wall around it.
These are usually quick jobs, but getting the patch to blend in takes the same care as a full re-skim, particularly matching the texture and level so it doesn't show once it's painted.

the time either job was too small or they would give me time but not turn. I had a new upvc door fitted and the fitters said the boarding around the frame needs to be finished by plasterer so I made contact with Jimmy and he came down same day, gave me a quote which was reasonably priced and started with job very next day. This wasn't easy for Jimmy but he and his colleague persevered with it until it was complete. Even though they faced problems with the door they didn't moan or tried to charge me extra. They would arrive on time with positive attitude, very friendly and very good at their job. I highly recommend J.S plastering services for all your plastering needs. I will be using again for basement work..
I’m in a very good place to comment on Jimmy’s work, because I have work from two different plasterers in the property. I can safely say that Jimmy’s work is absolutely outstanding! Head and shoulders above the work of the second plasterer which came in. The walls and ceilings Jimmy plastered are silky smooth. Loved his work. I’m lucky the second plasterer only did a small portion of the house. I actually thought of calling Jimmy back myself to redo the plastering of the other plasterer but the decorator has said he can work with the plastering to achieve a good finish.
